Having built a modern, passive house in Stroud, Gloucestershire using cedar and slate, the brief for this student project was to design a garden that mirrored the clean lines of the property.

Essential to the garden design was the need to balance sustainable design with the requirements of a young family on a site exposed to strong winds and baked dry by the sun in the summer.
