This family garden in Churchdown, Gloucestershire needed to be accessible for the whole family. We needed to create an easy to manage space for the children to play and an outdoor entertaining area for the adults to allow them to enjoy the garden in the warmer summer months.

Resin bound gravel paths make access through the space easy for the whole family and raised borders create an immersive feel.

We've included areas of lawn for children's play equipment, plus a large, covered outdoor entertaining and dining area.

​

The planting is relaxed and informal, with grasses and perennials providing interest throughout the year. The plants have also been selected for their value to pollinators and other garden wildlife.

​

A woodland area towards the back of the garden provides a woodland play area and includes a fire pit that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
