This project is all about the planting and planting design. The structure of the garden was already in place and a lovely large terrace had been built along the back of this gorgeous red brick detached house.

My brief was to help with the placement of some hedging, the mixed herbaceous and shrub borders and the planting plans for each border.

The planting needed to be resilient and unfussy, happy in a sunny location and beneficial for our garden wildlife. The front border was planted in Spring 2019 and I'm hoping they will have filled out for photographs in Spring 2020. The hedging is being planted in this Autumn.
